Our Lady of Perpetual Support for People Living with HIV/AIDS (OLPS) is a Kenyan nonprofit founded in 1992 with a mission to restore health and dignity to those affected by HIV, poverty, and other systemic challenges. Grounded in love and service, we work hand-in-hand with communities to improve health, strengthen families, empower the next generation, and create lasting impact.

At OLPS, we exist because we believe that every person deserves to live with dignity, access health and social services, and be seen in their full potential—regardless of their circumstances. We are rooted in communities that have long faced the brunt of HIV/AIDS, poverty, gender-based violence, and poor access to essential services like water, education, and economic
opportunity.
For over three decades, we have walked alongside the most vulnerable in Kenya, particularly children, women and girls, people living with HIV, and the elderly, responding not only to their immediate needs but to the systemic gaps that hold them back.
While global investment has flowed for years across different communities, it is often fragmented, top-down, or short-term, missing the enduring impact that locally-led organizations like OLPS bring through trust, cultural insight, and community accountability.

Our services are focused on creating lasting change through community development, healthcare access, educational support, and emergency relief.
We provide comprehensive health services—including HIV care, Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV, Maternal and Child Health, Community TB Prevention and Control, outpatient and inpatient services. Our focus is on healing, prevention, and long-term wellbeing for every individual we serve.
Structured Care and Support to Orphans & Vulnerable Children: We walk with children made vulnerable by HIV, poverty, or family loss. We ensure their safety, education, and emotional wellbeing. Every child deserves to grow up loved, protected, and empowered.
We empower young people through education support, life skills, mentorship, and economic opportunities—helping them make informed life choices and break cycles of vulnerability. Our programs directly address the triple threat of HIV, teen pregnancy, and gender-based violence.
Through parenting skills, economic strengthening, and food security initiatives, we equip families to thrive. Strong, self-reliant families are the heart of sustainable communities.
Offering Safe Spaces & Inclusive Learning. The Center offers a safe, temporary home for children who have faced abuse or exploitation, restoring dignity and helping them healing, and a chance to thrive.
We focus on impactful causes that address urgent community needs, from healthcare and education to food security and for lasting change.

1,860 individuals living with HIV are currently receiving comprehensive care and treatment services at OLPS.
